Progressing to Employment

Our qualifications, such as the BTEC Higher National Diploma (HND), are designed for the workplace as well as for university.

At Edexcel International, we understand that not everyone wants to go to university. There are large numbers of students who want to finish studying and get a good job, without spending three years at university. BTEC qualifications give you the specialist knowledge, skills and confidence to make an immediate impact in the modern workplace.

We know that our BTEC qualifications are both respected and demanded in the workplace. We can also be sure that they are relevant because we design our qualifications with the input and support of leading industries. For example, students wishing to study our HND in Telecommunications may like to know that we consulted with key players such as BT and Siemens when designing the qualification. This process ensures that employers can trust our qualifications.

Not only do we have close associations with employers, we also work with professional bodies to ensure that HND holders can gain exemptions from other programmes of study, as well as counting towards memberships of other organisations.
