Whether you’re taking an Edexcel academic or vocational (BTEC) qualification, the opportunities are greater than you may think.

Our academic qualifications have always given students excellent progression. Every year, tens of thousands of students take our GCEs and then go to the UK, the USA, Canada and Australia to study for their degrees. Many others remain in their own country to complete their studies.

BTEC Nationals and BTEC Higher Nationals are an ideal alternative progression route. There are many examples of students studying their BTEC Higher National locally before entering the second or even final year of a degree in another country, including the UK and the USA. BTEC Nationals and BTEC Higher Nationals also give excellent employment opportunities. Many multinational companies (such as Shell and Emirates) run BTEC training programmes for their staff.
