Will we still receive our Edexcel results on paper in the normal way if we choose to allow our students to register for ResultsPlus Direct?

Yes, all results will still be sent on paper in the normal way. A separate project may involve allowing centres to choose whether they want to receive paper results in future, but this will be optional and not tied to participation in ResutlsPlus Direct.

What do I do if any of my students lose their PIN slips?

Please contact us at www.edexcel.org.uk/ask . We will regenerate the PINs and email them to you. Unfortunately, we cannot take requests direct from students for reprint PINs as we have no means of authenticating them.

What do I do if I suspect someone has fraudulently registered using another student’s details?

Please contact us as soon as possible. We will be able to delete the registration and reissue the PIN number to you so that you can give the correct student the opportunity to register.

Is it possible to allow only some of our students to register?

You can control exactly which students you wish to be able to register through the distribution of the PIN slips; only give them out to students that you want to be able to participate.

What happens if I have students who are doing both GCE and GSCE examinations this summer?

Students who are doing GCE and GCSE/IGCSE exams will receive separate PIN slips for each one. Unfortunately, because the matching of GCE and GCSE entries is not foolproof, they will need to register separately using a different email address for each qualification.
