Edexcel is constantly reviewing its qualifications to ensure that they are appropriate and relevant for international centres. Following a recent review, Edexcel has decided to withdraw the following subjects as the entries for these subjects are very low:

7233 German
7333 Italian   
7561 Religious Studies (Sikhism)
7609 Chinese   
7620 Hindi   
7626 Malay
7634 Panjabi   
7645 Thai  
7593 Spanish

Centres are asked to note that the final examination date for the above subject(s) will be May/June 2008. There will be no opportunity to re-sit the examination for the subject(s) after that date.
